About these terms

Onyx Motor Club provides exotic and luxury vehicle rentals in Southern California. These website terms should be read with our Rental Requirements and your signed rental agreement. They do not replace that agreement.

Booking requests and confirmation

Choose your vehicle and submit your preferred rental dates through our contact page. The end date must be at least the following calendar day. A request is not a confirmed reservation. Our team confirms availability, dates, required documents, pricing, deposit, and pickup or delivery arrangements before finalizing a booking. Provide accurate information for every driver.

Driver requirements

Drivers must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid, unexpired driver’s license. International drivers must also present a passport. No DUIs or major violations are permitted within the preceding three years. All drivers must be present and named on the rental agreement.

Insurance

Full coverage insurance, including comprehensive and collision, is required. Provide proof before pickup. Renters without qualifying coverage may purchase a third-party policy through us. The renter is responsible for the full deductible in the event of damage. Additional coverage terms and responsibilities are set out in the rental agreement and insurance policy.

Rates, payments, and deposits

Website rates are shown in US dollars. Confirm availability, pricing, payment arrangements, and any delivery or collection charges with our team. Your confirmed quote and rental agreement identify the applicable charges.
Security deposits range from $1,500 to $5,000 depending on the vehicle and are due at or before delivery. Our Rental Requirements specify Zelle or cash; confirm the accepted payment method with our team. Deposits are held for 24–48 hours after the rental while the vehicle is inspected. Tolls, tickets, fuel, cleaning, and damage charges may be deducted in accordance with the rental agreement and applicable law.

Mileage and fuel

Daily mileage allowances range from 100 to 120 miles depending on the vehicle. Additional mileage costs $3 to $7 per mile based on the car rented. Confirm the vehicle-specific allowance and rate before booking. Return the vehicle with the same fuel level as at handoff. Use Premium Gas only. Refueling with the wrong grade results in a service charge.

Vehicle use and care

Racing, track use, off-roading, towing, and commercial rideshare are prohibited. Smoking is prohibited and results in a cleaning fee. Pets in exotic vehicles require prior written approval. Vehicles may not leave California without written approval. Follow traffic laws and the vehicle-care instructions provided at handoff. All vehicles are GPS monitored for security purposes.

Pickup, delivery, and return

Arrange pickup, delivery, return, or team collection with Onyx Motor Club. Review vehicle condition at handoff and report concerns to our team. Return the car at the agreed time and location or arrange collection in advance. Contact us if your plans change. Extensions and changes require confirmation; applicable charges are governed by your rental agreement.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation deadlines, refunds, no-shows, early returns, and changes to confirmed bookings are governed by each signed rental agreement, subject to applicable law. Review these terms before signing or paying. This website does not create a separate cancellation or refund schedule.

Website use and ownership

Use this website lawfully. Do not submit false information, impersonate others, interfere with the site, upload harmful code, or attempt unauthorized access. Website content and branding belong to or are licensed by their respective rights holders. Do not reproduce protected content commercially without authorization. External services and links may have their own terms and privacy notices.

Agreement, rights, and updates

If rental-specific provisions differ, your signed rental agreement controls to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded. Applicable law and agreed dispute provisions are addressed in your rental agreement. Updates to these website terms do not retroactively alter a signed agreement without an agreed amendment or as required by law.
